I love drawing pictures, for children and adults, as commissioned work or just for myself into my sketchbook. I am constantly bubbling with energy and my head is always full of ideas, both of which is mirrored in my designs. On the whole, my drawings are characterised by unique details and a good sense of humour.
Depending on each commission, I do my drawings digitally or use conventional tools, always working closely together with my customers. This way, we have created many great, thrilling, and fun projects over the years, and I have enjoyed every one of them from the start.
I guess my greatest strength is that I perform well under pressure and always do high-quality work, even on last-minute commissions.
My main customers include book and games publishing companies, agencies and museums, theatres, magazines and animated films producers. Most of my projects have been published in German-speaking countries, but a few have even made their way into the playrooms of children all over the world (e.g. in Korea, Estonia, or the Czech Republic).
I live and work in the beautiful city of Halle, Germany. In my spare time, I love digging in my flower pots, or I snatch up my sketchbook and fine liner pen and roam the zoos or natural history museums of my region, letting myself be inspired by living and stuffed animals (preferably birds and fish).
